AudiologistsSandra Ellis, Au.D., FAAA Sandra grew up in Vancouver, WA and attended the UW for her BS (1975) and Master’s degree in Audiology (1978). She received her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still School of Health Sciences. She is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Academy of Audiology. Sandy began Seattle Hearing and Balance in 1991 (as Providence Audiology) to help people find solutions for hearing and dizziness/balance problems. She believes these solutions are found through a caring relationship between audiologist and patient combined with skillful diagnostics. To encourage future audiologists to respect this relationship Sandy mentors Audiology interns from the University of Washington. Sandy’s unique combination of energy and empathy attracts loyal patients and referring doctors alike. Sandy lives in the Cascade foothills with her family, dogs, cats and horse.
