Established in 1991 by Dr. Sandra Ellis, Seattle Hearing and Balance Center is a multi-faceted private audiology practice that strives to provide the best care for our patients. We believe that hearing care is health care and should be treated as such.
Our goal is to accomplish more than hearing and balance evaluations. We aim to change the course of cognitive decline and reduce the risk of falling for patients of all ages. We are committed to helping prevent social isolation, depression, and adverse medical events through the best preventative care and hearing education.
Meet Our Providers
Dr. Sandra Kase Ellis, Au.D., FAAA
Sandra Kase Ellis is earned her BS and Masters in Audiology from the University of Washington and her Doctorate of Audiology from the A.T. Still School of Health Sciences. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She Seattle Hearing and Balance in 1991 as an alternate solution to big medicine in order to give the time necessary to each patient to address individual hearing and balance needs Dr. Ellis also mentors Audiology interns from the University of Washington here in our office.
Dr. Emma Piehl, au.d., ccc-A, faaa
A PNW native, Dr. Emma Piehl completed her studies at University of Washington, where she received her Doctorate of Audiology degree. Her goal as an audiologist is to provide the best interventions possible based on scientific evidence. Dr. Piehl specializes in balance and vestibular disorders, as well as hearing loss for pediatric and adult patients. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds certification through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
